Filling the pool - July 19th, 2010
The piles of dirt around the edge of the pool are now gone
The guys from Sparkle Pools did a great job of keeping the back yard tidy whilst they did this work
It was around this time that the first of the pool chemicals were added - the pump was still not yet working

During this work it rained heavily for several days - as you can see from the pools of water in the lower left of the picture

The concrete along the long sides of the pool gets laid - July 24th, 2010

The two short ends are still be done

The rest of the concrete was poured a couple of days later...

All the pool surround concrete now poured

In the picture above notice thatin the lower right the new settings for the pool board and on the right the date "2010" picked out. This was done with marbles that Patty had since her childhood.
