On 6th March 2005, I was lucky enough to come across some old postcards of Terre Haute at the 25th Semi-Annual Indiana Book and Paper Show in Indianapolis. According to Dorothy W. Jerse and John R. Becker III in their book "Terre Haute & Vigo County in Vintage Postcards" there are around 2,000 different postcards of Terre Haute in existence, the first produced by the Star Printing Company in 1898.
